Don 2 connection with Don’s Past

Farhan Akhtar, the director of Don 2, decided to make up the film because now he has a lot of freedom to explore the character of Don according to his needs which was no possible earlier with Don because of its prequel being Amitabh Bachan’s Don of 1978. Audience is already families with the earlier character of Don but they don’t know know why he has such character. Don 2 will touch upon the past of Don, the environment he was born into that resulted in him becoming Don.

Hrithik in Don 2

According to rumors, Hrithik Roshan, one of the best Bollywood actors who as seen in action in Dhoom 2 will be seen in Don 2 along with SRK. Sources say that he will be doing a guest role of 10 minutes in this film.

In the past, Hrithik has turned down many offers for such guest roles by various filmmakers but he accepted it because of his healthy relations with SRK and director Farhan. His friendship seems so strong with Sharukh and Farhan, that he has even refused to take a single pie for his role in Don 2.

Don 2 in Legal Trouble

A very bad news for all Don and SRK fans out here!
As much as we want to see Don 2 as a super duper hit, Nariman Films has sent a copyright infringement notice to Don 2 which might create problems with its release. Nariman Films is a film production house which created the original Don starring Amitabh Bachan. According to them, Farhan Akhtar and team got the copyright to make a sequel of original Don only and never renewed it for another sequel. Don 2 – The Chase Conitues is a sequel to previous Don and Excel Entertaiment needs permission from Nariman Films to release this in cinemas. If the issue doesn’t get sorted out soon, Nariman films mights approach the court and stop the release of Don 2, on Dec 23 this year.

Don 2 Promotion in Ra One

For all those who have already watched SRK’s Diwali release Ra.One, you couldn’t have skipped a scene where Prateek (SRK’s son) witnesses a dream about G.One, in which he sees G.One in long hair and makeup similar to SRK’s look in Don 2. After researching the rumors it was found out that it was SRK’s idea to give G.One a new look in that scene. This might not be, but it looks like a marketing stunt to promote Don 2 with release of Ra One.

Yes, there are rumors which actually appear to be true that the most awaited Hindi thriller “”" DON 2 “”" will be presented in 3D version also. The Don 2 trailer that released a little time ago has made a blast with very high views in short time. The trailer actually increases user demands and people want more and more from this Bollywood movie. To fulfill this increasing desire towards Don 2, the makers are planning to introduce 3d effects to this film to give an entirely new and high end experience to viewers. Producer, Ritesh Sidhwani says that he has watched some of the scenes that have been converted from 2D to 3D and he is blown away by the results. Hence, they finally decided to convert the whole Don 2 Movie into Don 2 (3D). Film will also be dubbed in Telugu and Tamil language to increase the audience.

Don 2 shoot to begin in October

Don 2 – The Chase Continues , the seqeul of Don is now confirmed. According to director Farhan Akhtar the shooting of the movie will begin in 1st or 2nd October 2010. Everyone is excited about it. Not only fans but Farhan himself is looking forward to the sequel. Starcast Sharukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal and Om Puri are also confirmed in the sequel. Some new characters are being added in the script but they are yet to be confirmed.

After success of Don – The Chase Begins, Farhan Akhtar is back with the sequel Don 2 – The Chase Continues starring Sharukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Isha Kopikaar as main leads. Other actors expected to play role in Don 2 are Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Kareena Kapoor. As per the sources, the shooting for the film is expected to start in a few months and movie is expected to release in 2011. Farhan says, the shooting of the film will take place in Philippines and Germany, with a few scenes in other European countries. According to ‘Times of India’ Don 2 will be ‘one of the most anticipated sequels of all time’.
