Priyanka Chopra

Previous miss world Priyanka Chopra has played efficiently a role of Romaa in the new version of Don (2006), a remake of previous Don (1978). In this movie, she has played a character similar to that of former popular actress Zeenat Aman but she insists that she has not at all copied her and has given a new outlook to her character.

Priyanka says that she is not at all aware about the appreciation of her character in that movie and has left everything upon the decision of audience. She said that it was one of the difficult task and role she had ever performed and none of the present age actress would have accepted even to play this role as it being quite tedious to play the same role which has been played earlier and also got super hit. So it was one of the challenging tasks for Priyanka to make the audience forget about the role of Zeenat in earlier Don before her acting in the new version.

Also, Priyanka adds that she had to make much efforts and rehearsal for the shots of Don and she had to get extra training for 45 days of martial arts as this movie was full of action and also Priyanka led the prominent role in this movie. Her trainer of martial art was Kanishq who is very popular in his sector.

She discloses that she has done hard work and put their best efforts to make their look suitable and attractive and also she has put stress on her dress selection and her dress designer was Akki Narula and also says that Mac also gave her a new look for this movie.

Anyone can easily remember the role and acting performed by Zeenat Aman in 1978’s Don but Priyanka has also acted positively and with perfectness and for this she is not going to be overwhelmed by Zeenat’s role and will surely be remembered for her acting in new version of Don.

Priyanka will now be seen in Don 2 – The Chase Continues, the sequel of Don. Everyone in excited about this movie and shooting is likely to start in October.
